VHA seeking PEO Supervisory Supply Management Specialist

Summary

This position is located in the Program Executive Office (PEO) of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Procurement and Logistics Office (P&LO). The Supervisory Supply Management Specialist provides leadership, oversight and expertise in the development, coordination, implementation and integration of enterprise-level expendable commodity-based requirements for approximately 1,400 VHA facilities.

Major duties include:

  • Supporting all phases of the program’s acquisition life cycle to include definition, development, design, integration, test and evaluation, scheduling, production, installation, training, operational support, sustainment, modernization, and disposal.
  • assessing and planning for risk, identifying/resolving all program issues and monitoring/reporting progress.
  • partnering with other stakeholders to establish mission requirements and objectives, planning for accomplishment, progress reviews, and providing management guidance and advice for policy decisions.
