CDC taps Senior Advisor, Data Science

Dan Addyson, a senior data scientist armed with a decade of experience in predictive modeling and machine learning, experimental design and inferential statistics, and business intelligence, has taken on a new challenge as Senior Advisor, Data Science at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Dan posted about his career move on LinkedIn: “I’m excited to share that I’m starting a new position as a Senior Advisor, Data Science at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention! Super stoked to be back in the public health space. #datascience #publichealth #federalgovernment”.

Prior roles include:

  • Deputy Command Data Officer – Navy Air Systems Command (NAVAIR)
  • HQ Command Data Officer (Acting) – Navy Air Systems Command (NAVAIR)
  • Senior Data Scientist, Team Lead – Sabre Systems Inc.
