Matthew Schmid, a systems-builder, has taken on a new role as Director of the Federally Facilitated Health Insurance Marketplace IT Operations Division at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. In his new role, Matthew and his team will work to ensure that’s the IT infrastructure, applications, and systems that allow the American public to shop for Qualified Health Plans are well-operating and secure.

- Program Manager and Project Owner, Agency Portfolio Management (CPIC) & Enterprise Governance – CMS
- Budget Analyst – CMS
- Supervising Fiscal/Management Analyst – Maryland Department of Budget and Management
