CDC seeking Public Health Analyst (Policy & Issues Management)

Duties

  • As a Public Health Analyst (Policy & Issues Management) you will:
  • Provide an effective planning, policy, budgeting, legislative, and regulatory framework for the CIO’s programs and serves as the chief analyst with the responsibility for determining the effectiveness of these programs.
  • Serve as goal planning advisor to the Director and provides theoretical and practical guidance regarding the application of complex, multi-functional, multi-layered goal planning, strategic leadership, analytical goals, objectives, issues, processes, and procedures related to programs and accomplishments of programmatic activities.
  • Provide expert program planning advice related to budgeting, and fiscal resources.
  • Direct the application of promising new innovative strategic approaches, concepts, methods, and systems. Incumbent is a recognized authority in goal planning and management.
  • In consultation with members of the senior program management staff, prepares short (1-3 year) and long-range (3-10 year) goals, objectives, and operational plans for carrying out the mission…
