“The employee serves in a senior/management position as Director of Network Development. This position is located in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Office of Integrated Veteran Care (IVC), Integrated External Networks (IEN), and is assigned under the supervision and direction of the SES Executive Director (ED) of IEN.”
Responsibilities:
- Manages the areas of acquisition, contract management and performance, and network support of health care.
- Leads planning, management, and oversight of acquisitions in support of Integrated Veteran Care activities.
- Provides advice and analysis on complex acquisition/Federal Acquisition Regulation situations.
- Assists in the development of short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
- Provides personnel management for Directorate staff and ensures compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Serves as the principal liaison establishing and maintaining mutual understanding and cooperation between VA health care third-party administrators (TPAs) for contract changes.
