…Primary Responsibilities:
- This position will focus on identifying and selling a wide variety of healthcare delivery services and solutions to federal, state, and local government agencies across the U.S. As a business development executive working within OSPER, you will be expected to:
- Ownership and sales responsibility of a new business and/or recompete opportunity through the entire opportunity lifecycle, to include prospecting leads/discovery, qualification, pursuit, proposal, and deal closure.
- Work as part of an integrated team that includes Solutioning, Capture, Proposal, and Pricing
- Maintain a robust, qualified new business pipeline by sourcing and developing leads; qualifying those leads into opportunities; and maintaining those opportunity details and customer relationships throughout the entire opportunity lifecycle
- Assume responsibility and accountability for assigned annual sales revenue goals
- Demonstrate consistent business development activities to maximize new business development and assure ongoing pipeline growth through customer relationship management
- Develop and deliver content-rich materials for opportunity-level management gate reviews, to include customer acquisition strategy, funding, customer needs and hot buttons, competitive landscape, strategic value, and alignment with company offerings
- Where assigned, develop and maintain customer-level strategic plans to identify and drive organic growth opportunities (for existing customers) and/or new account penetration (for new/targeted customers) taking in account the full breadth of company solutions and services
- Manage the sales cycle using weekly pipeline and account reviews to include a wide variety of internal stakeholders, including OSPER senior leadership
- Build a working knowledge of business unit and enterprise capabilities, maintain a strong relationship with business unit product managers to assist for depth and expertise
- Participate in trade shows and other industry events, as appropriate, and work to identify and cultivate partner relationships
