Leidos seeking Control Account Manager, DHMSM Sustainment Engineering

“We are looking for an experienced Control Account Manager to join our high performing Sustainment Engineering team. This position works alongside engineering managers and senior program leaders, and is responsible for driving scope execution, schedule, financial performance, and risk mitigation.”

Responsibilities:

The Control Account Manager is critical to DHMSM Earned Value and Program Management and works closely with Engineering Managers to define Control Account work scope, schedule, and budget. The CAM is accountable to the Chief Systems Engineer Engineering Business Manager for control account performance with a budget of $75M per year.

  • Ensure EV principles are maintained within Sustainment Engineering
  • Determine work accomplished each month (Budgeted Cost for Work Performed (BCWP))
  • Update Estimates to Complete (ETC) for work packages within assigned control account, and validating Estimates At Complete (EAC)
  • Conduct formal cost and schedule variance analysis and developing recovery plans required to recover schedule or cost variances.
  • Manage control account risks & issues
  • Process change requests for changes to budget, schedule or technical scope of assigned control accounts…

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and twelve (12) years of prior relevant experience or a master’s degree and six (6) years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a Degree.
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust/ADP2/IT-II level clearance
  • Experience as a Control Account Manager, Project Manager, Business Manager or Project Controller in a contractually-required EVMS environment
  • Working knowledge of EVMS and scheduling processes
  • Five (5) years of experience supporting large scale software development and hardware integration programs
