HHS recruits Deputy Assistant Secretary for National Security (Acting)

Robert Rohrer, an industry leader with experience directing global security, threat mitigation, risk, counterintelligence, and insider threat mitigation for the US government, has taken on a new challenge as Deputy Assistant Secretary for National Security (Acting) at Department of Health and Human Service (HHS). While serving at the National Counterintelligence & Security Center, Robert has overseen a wide range of directorates and programs that enabled continued human, national, economic, information, and operational security.

Prior roles include:

  • Assistant Director for Enterprise Threat Mitigation/Director of National Insider Threat Task Force – National Counterintelligence & Security Center (NCSC)
  • Deputy Assistant Director for Mission Integration – National Counterintelligence & Security Center (NCSC)
  • Deputy Director, National Insider Threat Task Force (NITTF) – National Counterintelligence & Security Center (NCSC)
