NIH seeking Chief Program Manager, Clinical Center

Responsibilities:

  • Perform the full range of supervisory duties to employees.
  • Set the strategic direction for the Office, plan the goals, objectives and initiatives required to achieve the strategic direction and implement the plans.
  • Assess, develop, implement, and manage the Office’s programs, policies and services.
  • Formulate program plans, carry out the plans, interpret the findings, and assess their organizational applicability.
  • Ensure programs are administered in accordance with pertinent regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Manage the budget for all of the programs and ensure contracts are administered appropriately.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of more efficient and streamlined methods and procedures to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Office.
  • Ensure that supervisors are properly trained and able to execute their human resources and equal employment opportunity management responsibilities in accordance with the appropriate procedures and regulations.
