“The CM will be responsible for managing the full Business Development life cycle process across multiple Civilian, Intel and DOD agencies.”
Responsibilities:
- Identify and shape prospective information technology contracts for qualification
- Develops strategic account plans for targeted agencies, which includes analysis and assessments.
- Develops sales and capture strategies working with internal personnel, partners and government clients to qualify and successfully develop winning proposal bid.
- Leads and writes white papers, RFI’s and supports the development and creation of proposal content
- Develops a pipeline of new business opportunities for assigned accounts and supports the capture effort for identified opportunities.
- Develop and maintain key business relationships in the government marketplace with primary responsibility for identifying and developing opportunities for business expansion
- Develops and executes capture plans for the pursuit and capture of key opportunities.
- Obtains market as well as competitive intelligence and develops solution, teaming and pricing strategies.
- Participates in bid decisions, develops and presents the opportunities at phase/gate reviews for approval.
- Leads the development and evaluation of technical content and contractual compliance of proposals.
- Partners with operations to develop winning strategies.
- Participates in the proposal process and provides recommendations for improvement of quality/content.
Requirements:
- Bachelors’ Degree, Masters’ Degree desired.
- 8+ years of federal management consulting experience to a government client
- 5+ years of Capture and Business Development experience with a track record of winning information technology professional services contracts
- Strong business acumen that demonstrates an understanding of business issues and linking solutions to business capture strategies
- Demonstrated evidence of successful capture experience
- Experience developing account and capture plans, including research on agency contracts and company teaming partners
- In-depth knowledge of the typical industry capture and proposal process
- Experience with Project Management, systems or business analysis, solution architecture, go-to-market strategy
- Understanding of public sector procurement and business development processes
- Ability to forms teams, make government contract holder contact and meeting establishment leading to dialog to qualify, shape and increase knowledge of win themes and PWIN
- Capture and Business Development experience working with other companies that provide professional services, Information Technology, IT and Program/Project Management, SETA, Logistics, Cyber Security and/or other CIO Advisory Services related services that Federal agencies require
