VA Cybersecurity Lead departs for DOJ role

Alvin Wilson, an industry leader with over 20 years of government leadership experience in IT Program Management, Acquisitions and Cybersecurity, has taken on a new challenge as Deputy Division Chief, IT Systems Management at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

Alvin has led cross-functional teams in the implementation/sustainment of enterprise IT Portfolio and Product Line Management. 

Prior roles include: 

  • Service Line Manager – IT Program Management/Cybersecurity – Department of Veterans Affairs 
  • Chief Technical Analyst – Platform Support – Department of Veterans Affairs 
  • Manager Network Engineering/ IT Project Management – Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
