Millennium Group seeking Vice President, Business Development, HHS

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new customers and opportunities across the Public Sector and commercial markets
  • Manage the new business sales strategy and approach, including coordinating with the Program Operations teams in identifying and pursuing additional opportunities within existing programs/contracts
  • Leverage contacts and networks to connect dots, amplify needs, and implement mission focused solutions
  • Delivering capture operations and proposal results that improve both Win and Capture Rates
  • Spearhead and Champion the company’s BD process (Shipley framework)
  • Position the company to be competitive as a prime contractor in the full and open environment
  • Partner with COO and CTO to drive company differentiation
  • Stand up a high-performing Capture Team (analytics: PWin, PGo, POA)
  • Stand up a superior Proposal Team (storyboarding, color team execution, technical SME engagement and technical writing and AAR’s)
  • Lead a cross-functional capture and campaign team in pursuit of new franchise opportunities
  • Maintain awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards, etc.
  • Establish and manage partner program that delivers win-win go-to-market outcomes; This includes but is not limited to: Business Development Partnerships for Joint Ventures, Mentor Protégé Program, Private Labeling and other relevant agreements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in other relevant fields preferred.
  • 15 – 20 years of relevant or related experience required
  • Must have the ability to define the problem and develop a solution with a strong understanding of how that solution will be implemented within cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Required experience in Leadership, Management, and federal cyber initiative insights.
  • Proven track record of developed relationships with key important decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Proven domain expertise at the enterprise level with the DoD.
  • Ability to operate as a collaborative member of the Executive Team responsible for shaping and guiding business strategy and operations while maintaining company fiduciary responsibility.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and present data.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage numerous projects and a team of 10+ people.
