CMS CMCS seeking Lead IT Specialist (System Analysis)

“This position is located in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS), Data and Systems Group (DSG), Division of Information Systems (DIS).”

“As an Lead Information Technology Specialist (System Analysis), GS-2210-14, you will also serve as a product leader and expert resource for division or inter-component teams involved in digital products designed to improve usability and maximize value for Medicaid and CHIP programs.”

Responsibilities:

  • Direct the development and implementation of digital products and services for area(s)/ projects(s) of responsibility throughout the full life cycle development.
  • Provide high-level technical and conceptual expertise, particularly for crosscutting initiatives and major developmental projects.
  • Research, learn and apply a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve team effectiveness, efficiency and work products.
  • Monitor and report on the status and progress of work, checking on work in progress and reviewing completed work to see that the supervisor?s instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines and quality have been met.
