CDC taps Health Informatics Manager (QC)

Jamir Ford, an experienced health professional in areas spanning infection control and prevention, scientific research, operations analysis, community outreach and health policy compliance, has taken on a new challenge as Health Informatics Manager (QC) at the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC).

Jamir brings recent experience supporting the CDC’s Health Systems and Worker Safety Task Force (HSWS-TF) ongoing COVID-19 emergency response efforts.

Prior roles include:

  • Public Health Operations Research Analyst (CTR), CDC/NCCDPHP – Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
  • Public Health Emergency Response Coordinator (CTR) – Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
  • Disease Intervention Specialist – Fulton County Government
