Building on nearly a decade of experience leading health services and health IT programs and initiatives, including experience leading multi-million-dollar health resource and health research programs, and recent experience with HHS developing and evaluating ONC’s overall scientific efforts and activities and providing strategic direction for ONC’s involvement under the Precision Medicine Initiative, this leader takes on a new challenge with Veterans Affairs overseeing the Healthcare Informatics Portfolio.
