CDC taps Acting Team Lead, Shared Services, Office of Informatics, NCIPC

Danny Wade, an industry leader with expertise in Executive Leadership, Project Management, Cloud Security, Computer Security, Incident Response, Intrusion Detection, Vulnerability/Penetration Testing, Security Testing and Evaluations (ST&Es), and Application Security, has taken on a new challenge as Acting Team Lead, Shared Services, Office of Informatics, NCIPC at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In this new role, Danny provides leadership in the areas of 508 compliance, IT security, IT governance, Share Point, MS Tams and other rapidly evolving strategic initiatives that align with the agency initiatives on data modernization.

Prior roles include:

  • Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) – Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
  • IT Project Manager – Cascades Technologies
  • Information Security Specialist 3 – Emergint Technologies, Inc. a subsidiary of CACI (Contractor with the CDC)
