“CVP is seeking a highly skilled, Top Secret Cleared Senior Security Control Assessor to execute, support, and provide expertise as part of a successful cybersecurity program. The Senior Security Control Assessor will perform assessments of an organization’s information technology systems, specifically Step 4 of the Risk Management Framework.”
Responsibilities:
- Lead Step 4 of the Risk Management Framework.
- Perform security assessment of information systems leveraging established testing and evaluation techniques and tools.
- Demonstrate expertise to assess whether or not a system is secure.
- Provide input to the Risk Management Framework process activities and related documentation.
- Test and/or observe system operations to validate implementation statements in provided artifacts or the result of interviews.

Requirements:
- Active Top Secret government security clearance.
- 4-year college degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience, or 7 years of experience in lieu of a college degree.
- At least 7 years of cybersecurity experience, including 3 years or more directly engaged with Step 4 of the Risk Management Framework.
- Deep experience leading Step 4 of the Risk Management Framework.
- Strong understanding of security controls and how they are applied, and assess the effectiveness of security controls.
