This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Program Integrity (CPI), Data Analytics & Systems Group (DASG), Division of Provider Systems Management (DPSM).
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical expert and advisor to CMS leadership at the Center and Agency level on data management issues associated with provider enrollment systems.
- Implement advanced technology investigative techniques and strategies to identify fraud, waste, or abuse.
- Oversee technical complex projects and initiatives designed to address HHS and CMS Strategic plans, goals, and objectives.
- Prepare briefing reports relating to Medicare or Medicaid program integrity initiatives for a variety of audiences.
- Establish project priorities and deadlines, which align with program goals.
