“This position is located in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OIT), Development and Operations (DevOps), Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO), Enterprise Portfolio Management Division (EPMD).”
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a Portfolio Director by leading portfolio/program/project management staff, resources, and activities for planning, project execution, monitoring, and evaluation of major VA IT investments and initiatives.
- Supervises and manages staff and budget resources to accomplish major organizational IT strategies, initiatives, programs, and projects.
- Leads portfolio/program/project management staff, resources, and activities for planning, project execution, monitoring, and evaluation of major VA IT investments and initiatives.
- Advises VA senior management regarding IT project planning, budgeting, acquisition, execution of projects and programs.
- Manages the development and maintenance of VA’s operational, technical, infrastructure and application systems architecture and provides oversight for provisioning of computing and software engineering services.
