Performant Recovery has been awarded a $2.8M contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. As Recovery Auditor Contractor (RAC) Region 1, Performant will help CMS identify underpayments and recoup overpayments associated with services for which payment is made under Medicare including Part A or B of Title XVIII of the Social Security Act.
