CMS CCSQ Division of Acquisitions & Budget seeks IT Specialist

This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Clinical Standards and Quality, Division of Acquisitions & Budget.

As a Supervisory IT Specialist (Security), GS-2210-15, you will strategic planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the Information Systems Group’s acquisitions, including managing multimillion dollar information technology contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Identify developmental training needs of employees; provides or arranges for needed development and training.
  • Monitor funding levels and burn rates for multimillion dollar IT budgets and manages award fees.
  • Align IT strategy with business strategy, ensuring that ISG achieves its goals while taking into account stakeholders’ interests.
  • Assist Group management in effective 360 degree communications regarding the strategic plan.
