VA taps Innovation Ecosystem leader Ryan Vega to serve as Chief Officer for Healthcare Innovation and Learning

Ryan Vega brings the perspective he has gained driving and overseeing the management of both grassroot and strategic innovation initiatives across the Veterans Health Administration within the Department of Veterans Affairs as he takes on a new challenge and title in 2021 as Chief Officer for Healthcare Innovation and Learning.

Prior roles include:

  • Executive Director, VHA Innovation Ecosystem – Veterans Affairs
  • Director, VA Diffusion of Excellence – Veterans Affairs
  • Chief Quality Officer – Veterans Affairs
