NIH National Eye Institute (NEI) Taps Associate Director, Office of Data Science and Health Informatics

Kerry Goetz, building on perspective gained supporting NIH for more than a decade through a series of progressively responsible roles, takes on a new challenge as Associate Director, Office of Data Science and Health Informatics at the National Institutes of Health’s National Eye Institute (NEI). In this role she coordinates existing activities within the NEI and across NIH and provides a nidus for new trans-agency programs in data collection, data sharing and data interoperability.

Prior roles include:

  • Health Policy Analyst for Data Science and Informatics – National Eye Institute (NEI)
  • Health Science Program Manager – eyeGENE (National Ophthalmic Genotyping and Phenotyping Network) – National Eye Institute (NEI)
  • Program Coordinator (Contractor) – National Eye Institute (NEI)
