DoD recruits Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs

Dr. Robert Mabry, a leader in prehospital, austere and tactical medicine who has led numerous life-saving research, innovation, and policy initiatives, has taken on a new challenge as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs at Department of Defense.

Prior roles include:

  • Commander, Joint Medical Augmentation Unit – US Army
  • Director, Combat Casualty Care, Office of the Surgeon General – US Army
  • Congressional Health Policy Fellow – US Army
