“House Democrats in their latest stimulus bill included a billion dollars for federal IT modernization. That’s after a $3 billion proposal was left out of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Current funding for the Technology Modernization Fund is only $25 million.
