SeKON is looking for a Health Interoperability Technical Advisor to join our talented and innovative team supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) in Arlington, VA. The mission lifecycle of DHA is to deploy the largest global electronic health record system across the entire Department of Defense (DoD) community. We’re looking for a strong candidate to support the deployment of this critical system to our military community.
RESPONSBILITIES:
- Develops Architecture, Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, and programmatic processes.
- Analyze the Federal Electronic Health Record Modernization (FEHRM) interoperability and technical requirements for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
- Educating cross functional teams on the Engineering of emerging technologies to include Cloud Computing, Host-Based Architectures, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Mobility, Big Data Analytics, etc.
- Provides Enterprise Service technical implementation support in a broad area of technology of technology such as Storage (Cloud/Private/Hybrid), Virtualization, Directory Services, Enterprise Management, Cyber Security and Network Routing for multiple configurations in preparation for Go-Live events…
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 7+ years of specialized Systems Engineering experience (Military Health strongly preferred)
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Certifications in one or more of the following industry competencies; Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCSE, CISSP, or combination of CompTIA Network+ and Security+…

- Experience in DoD Healthcare IT and/or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
