Responsibilities:
- Lead capture within our business development process to include customer contact, from opportunity identification through post-submittal, competitive intelligence, gap analysis, teaming strategy, negotiating teaming agreements, supporting proposal responses, etc.
- Performs competitive intelligence analysis, identify appropriate teammates and supports solution development (including technical, management and price-to-win)
- Lead and oversee cross-functional, matrixed capture and bid teams that may include project managers, solution architects, subject matter experts, subcontractors and analysts
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative research using tools such as FPDS, USA Spending, FBO/BETA-SAM.gov, GovWin, Exhibit 300s, customer forecasts and internal databases
- Develop strong understanding of both customer issues and Knowesis’ information technology and consulting services so as to help align services to address their issues
- Develop account capture and business development plans in collaboration with account leads, program delivery personnel and executive management
- Oversee and manage a small team of capture personnel and analysts, helping them drive mature capture pursuits and support research requirements
Requirements:
- Previous exposure to, and relationships within defense health (MHS, DHA, VA), civilian health (NIH, HHS, CDC), or DHS and USDA agencies preferred
- Bachelor’s degree
- Detailed understanding of Small Business Set-aside programs (8a and tribally owned authorities)
- Minimum 10+ years experience in federal government contracting and expert understanding of the FAR
- Minimum 5+ years experience in federal government capture or business development
- Strong understanding of Federal Government procurement lifecycle, Requests for Proposals, Sources Sought, Request for Information and Proposal Responses
- Proven success in leading pursuit and capture of 50MM+ federal government contracts in management consulting, information technology, or managed services
