Responsibilities:
The BD Director is assigned to support our Federal/Civilian/Health (FCH) Market and is accountable for opportunity research and qualification, leading capture and pre-proposal activities and arranging / coordinating business development meetings. The BD Director develops and implements an integrated action/contact plan based upon capture analysis. This includes aiding in all required pursuit planning and ensuring each opportunity is accurately reflected in our pipeline management system. The position supports and informs proposal reviews and competitive pricing and coordinates with Technical Subject Matter Experts to develop capture / proposal strategies and technical content. The BD Director, in consultation with staff subject matter experts, defines win themes, develops and maintains a detailed capture plan and provides status updates at capture lifecycle reviews. The BD Director, in collaboration with other Market Team members, is responsible for meeting execution year financial goals and positioning their market for year over year organic growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in a Technical or Business field
- Three years non-DoD federal contract capture experience
- Experience using opportunity identification and capture tools
- Five years experience with Defense Health Agency or related government organizations desired
- Five years experience with Department of Homeland Security desired
- Federal Civilian contracting experience desired
