“The Government Accounts Manager is responsible for partnering with multiple internal and external sales professionals in order to develop and increase Masimo’s sales to the VA and DoD hospital and clinic sales.”
Responsibilities:
- Develops new Federal and State healthcare and disaster/emergency response markets strategic to Masimo’s goals;
- Partners closely with Field Sales Management, Hospital Systems Managers, Account Managers, and Inside Sales organization to develop and increase VA and DoD hospital and clinic sales;
- Partners closely with EMS sales organization in supporting their goals and developing new markets;
- Partners and supports the Director of Government Affairs in the development and sales and Medical Material SET/Authorized Medical Allowance List placement within the DoD Field Medical Unit/Combat Casualty Care marketplace;
- Continuously strives for strategic alliances and collaborative relationships with Masimo’s OEM partners to drive sales in Federal and State healthcare and emergency response marketplaces;
- Achieves all established MBO’s and sales quota, ensuring accelerated sales growth in the Federal and State healthcare and disaster/emergency response marketplaces
Requirements:
- Ten or more years of selling experience, with a strong, complex selling background in either medical device or capital equipment sales, as well as experience and contacts in Federal and State medical sales;
- Knowledge of Federal Government sales process and contracting;
- Understanding and track record in VA VISNs and DoD Tri-Service Regions, DoD Field Medical Unit/Combat Casualty Care, and/or Federal Government/State emergency medical/disaster response markets;
- Contacts in key organizations;
- Demonstrated medical device experience (preferably in vital sign monitors, pulse oximetry, or resuscitation technology) or capital equipment experience.
