Longtime HHS Division of Strategic National Stockpile Exec exits, launches consultancy

Greg Burel, armed with perspective gained as the chief Executive at HHS responsible for all activities of over 300 mutli-disciplinary personnel including logisticians, public health professionals, physicians, pharmacists, FDA regulatory specialists and others managing CDC’s subsidiary, the Strategic National Stockpile, and with fiscal responsibility for over $600 million in annual receipts from appropriations, has taken on a new role as President and Principal Consultant at Hamilton Grace.

Prior roles include:

  • Director, Division of Strategic National Stockpile – U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
  • Director, Administration and Resource Planning, Senior Disaster Logistics Official – FEMA
  • Co-Director Solutions Development Center – GSA
