Press Release: IBA Awarded U.S. Army Contract to Provide Cutting-Edge Telemedicine Services

“The U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC) awarded IBA a multi-year contract to provide research, scientific, management, and technical support for its Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC). An office housed within USAMRDC headquarters, TATRC fosters research on autonomous medical systems and virtual health technology to address combat casualty care gaps in Department of Defense (DoD) medical research and military healthcare.”

“IBA will support research and programs at TATRC labs at Fort Detrick in Frederick, Maryland, and Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia. Some specific innovative, leading technology solutions and services IBA will provide include the following:

  • Clinical research project management
  • Telemedicine program management
  • Mobile device software engineering
  • Medical scenario training
  • Artificial intelligence/machine learning engineering
  • Operational telemedicine network engineering
  • Robotics engineering
