“The Director of Business Development will serve as a subject matter expert in the Federal Civilian field and will lead opportunity generation, strategic planning, and capture of future and current program initiatives in accordance with the company’s growth strategy. This individual must have a strong understanding of the Federal Civilian acquisition market, with demonstrated success in the Federal HealthIT market (specifically HHS), experience in the Federal Financial Management space, a track record of Federal IT business success, and an ability to assess current capabilities and identify, develop, and lead capture efforts for opportunities exceeding $25M. The ideal candidate will need to bring, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with key decision makers within the Federal Civilian acquisition community and industry for identifying customer objectives, priorities, and requirements to position FUTREND as an innovative services leader. The Director of Business Development must be aware of, and responsive to, trends and opportunities that advance the overall company strategy. This individual must be able to operate within the capture processes, philosophy and policies, and maintain a professional approach to performing duties, including full awareness and compliance of applicable Federal Procurement and company Ethics Codes and Regulations. In this position, the Director must demonstrate leadership, management, and mentoring abilities. “Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years’ experience in Federal Civilian business development
- Proven track record developing relationships and closing business with Federal Civilian agencies, with direct responsibility for winning work in the HHS space
- Intimate knowledge of the Federal healthcare space and ability to identify, qualify, and close opportunities
- Experience identifying and qualifying new opportunities; maintaining a pipeline of qualified opportunities sufficient to meet FUTREND’s financial objectives
