DHA identifies former HHS procurement Chief as new Deputy to the Assistant Director for Acquisition

Jake Lewis, an experienced Senior Contract/Procurement Official who has worked in a series of progressively responsible roles to include having previously served as the Chief for Procurement Policy and Acquisition System with the Defense Health Agency, has taken on a new challenge as the Deputy to the Assistant Director for Acquisition.

Prior roles include:

  • Chief, Procurement Policy and Acquisition Systems – DHA
  • Senior Procurement Advisor – DHA
  • Chief, Contracting Officer – DHA
  • Chief of Procurement and Acquisition Management – U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
