The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to expand the computable medical data mapping associated with VA’s Schedule for Rating Disabilities (VASRD) which has been undertaken over the last 18 months for the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Compensation Service. This data mapping eliminates the need for the myriad of laborious administrative functions that are currently undertaken by adjudicators to prepare a claim for a decision, ultimately delivering a decision to the Veteran/Servicemember more quickly. The purpose of this acquisition is to execute a follow-on task order for the Modern Claims Processing (MCP) program in support of VASRD, evaluating computable medical data to identify and implement for use in the analysis performed during claim adjudication, which facilitates the continuing modernization of the Disability Compensation Program, as well as, the programs supporting separating Servicemembers.
