VA recruits former DHA/MHS leader as new Deputy Director supporting Rural Health office

Sheila R. Robinson, a healthcare leader with more than 20 years of diverse strategic and tactical level expertise, adept at leading high-performing teams and managing budgets in excess of $1B, has taken on a new challenge as Deputy Director for the VHA Office of Rural Health.

Prior roles include:

  • Program Manager, Federal Occupational Health – Spectrum Healthcare Resources
  • Director, Coalition and Non-Beneficiary Healthcare Programs, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs – Defense Health Agency
  • Director, Research & Acquisitions and Deputy Director, Management and Program Support – United States Air Force Medical Service
