The purpose of this action is to allow the existing vendor, Deloitte Consulting, LLC to expand the software development life cycle process of the Vaccine Code Set Management Service (VCSM). This action also serves as a bridge to continued work that will be carried out by Deloitte Consulting, LLP to fully deploy the shared service tool before the end of 2019. Deloitte Consulting, LLP has configured the only available commercial off the shelf application that automates the mapping and distribution of vaccine codes sets. To ensure the shared service tool can accommodate state variances, starting with the WIR platform, the existing vendor is the only vendor that has the capability to gather and develop the additional requirements in an expedited time frame.
