VA Under Secretary for Benefits shares summary of GI Bill hearing

“As I promised on Thursday, below is the link to the hearing on May 9, 2019 on the GI Bill. The hearing lasted 1 hour and 34 minutes. It was well attended by many members who sought to better understand how we are progressing toward completing implementation of Sections 107 and 501 in the Forever GI Bill by December 1, 2019. We covered a wide-range of topics including expectations of stakeholders, communication, governance, time schedules, contracts, and a discussion of how we will fulfill our commitment to make students whole after we have completed the work.”
