NIH Presolicitation: OER eRA Software Design and Development

The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Extramural Research (OER) is planning to issue an RFP on or about June 10, 2019 for a contract for the OER Agile Software Development Support Services.

The purpose of this acquisition is to provide a wide range of software design and development services following Agile development methodologies to support OER systems through the Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to 100+ modules that comprise NIH’s enterprise Grant Management system, known as eRA. Developed, managed, and supported by OER, the systems manage the receipt, processing, review, award, and monitoring of over $30 billion in research and non-research grants awarded annually by NIH and other grantor agencies.
