HHS recruits State Dept Acquisition Chief to support ACF OCIO

Sandra Hamilton, whose experience includes 20+ years with the Federal Government in Information Technology (IT) Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC), strategic planning, portfolio management, project life-cycle, risk, performance metrics, acquisition strategy, contracts and acquisitions life-cycle management, budget planning, formulation, execution and reporting, policy, procedures and governance, including serving as the Chief of the State Dept. Contracts and Acquisition Branch and as SME for Budget and Acquisitions within DHS, has taken on a new role as HHS’ Division Director for IT Policy, Strategy and Planning Division, Office of the Chief Information Officer, Administration for Children and Families.

Prior roles include:

  • Chief, Contracts and Acquisitions Branch – Department of State
  • Lead, Budget and Acquisitions (SME) – DHS
  • Budget, Contract and Procurement Analyst – Defense Information Systems Agency
