“The Federal Health Growth team is seeking a Director to lead and execute the Business Development function for the Military Health System account.”
“The position requires the individual to have an understanding of the Health Information Technology and Operational Medicine strategic direction for the Military Health System and Defense Health Agency. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated intimacy across the MHS and DHA, a proven record of successfully closing business on large and strategic opportunities, strong knowledge of this customer and an ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger Federal Health Growth organization. The qualified candidate will have proficiency in:
- Translating their understanding of the complexities within the MHS and DHA into a business account plan that aligns value added corporate capabilities and services to the strategic direction of the customer mission
- Demonstrated record of winning business within the MHS and DHA
- Developing and maintaining high quality relationships with customers and partners, including next generation technology vendors
- Ability to shape opportunities and our position throughout the opportunity life-cycle
- Formulating or supporting the communication and implementation of an integrated business development, capture and proposal strategy that clearly highlights GDIT’s value proposition and discriminators, and provides customers a clear and defensible justification for selecting GDIT for award
Qualifications:
- BS degree; additional years of BD experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 10 or more years of hands-on experience in Federal Sales/Business Development
- Extensive background developing business focused on IT Services, Lifecycle SW development, DoD Healthcare mission focused program support offerings
- Experience with Defense Health Agency budget, investments and acquisition processes (5 plus years)
