FDA identifies Acting Director for CDRH Strategic Partnerships and Technology Innovation

Suzanne Schwartz, whose prior experience with FDA’s Center for Devices & Radiological Health has included time assisting the CDRH Director and Deputy Center Director for Science in the development, execution and evaluation of the Center’s biomedical science and engineering programs and overseeing CDRH’s activities related to the Medical Device Innovation Consortium, has taken on a new challenge as the Department’s Acting Director for Strategic Partnerships & Technology Innovation.

Prior roles include:

  • CDRH Associate Director for Science and Strategic Partnerships – FDA
  • Director Emergency Preparedness/Operations and Medical Countermeasures, CDRH – FDA
  • Medical Officer – FDA
