To meet its core mission and objectives, OSDBU intends to procure a fully customizable cloud-based Event Management Software as a Service (EMSS) solution to provide web-based tools to plan and execute Direct Access Program (DAP) events, including large-scale national events, as well as regional and local events. DAP events bring businesses together with Procurement Decision Makers (PDM) and other buyers, from Government and industry. The goal is to facilitate a meaningful dialogue and to primarily identify business opportunities for Small Businesses across VA, federal agencies and the commercial sector.
The Contractor shall provide a customizable, turn-key, user-friendly, mobile ready, web-based, cloud-hosted EMSS solution to support the planning, management, and execution of VA national, regional, and local DAP events. The EMSS solution shall addresses the VA’s need to provide a collaborative event management platform where stakeholders at all levels across the organization have access to timely and accurate information required for planning, management and enhanced decision-making.
