VA awards contract for Real Time Location System VISN 1

VA has awarded a $2M contract for Real Time Location System VISN 1 to IBM.

The Contractor shall complete installing, configuring, and testing a VISN-wide RTLS, encompassing the VA owned asset tracking application that leverages the Centrak-Insites system. With the understand that approximately 50 percent of the work was completed for these three sites under the national RTLS Contract; the Contractor shall use to the fullest extent possible all existing hardware and software, maintaining the current system architecture for the RTLS solution.
