US Army Medical Command Clinical Engineering Chief retires

John Burgess, who previously served as the Primary Warrant Officer Advisor and Senior Medical Logistics Warrant Officer to The Surgeon General/USAMEDCOM in support of unified medical logistics operations; developing and managing strategic policies and procedures that encompass all aspects of lifecycle management, accountability, cyber security, and sustainment of medical devices/systems in the Army Medical Department, is now retired and consulting.

Prior roles include:

  • Chief, Clinical Engineering – US Army Medical Command/Office of the Surgeon General
  • Chief, Clinical Engineering – Brooke Army Medical Center
  • Division Chief, Medical Maintenance Management Div – US Army
