“ER staff at Madigan Army Medical Center in Washington have completed a few key EHR optimization projects to improve the MHS GENESIS EHR system, according to army.mil.”

“The team of clinicians reconfigured triage notes to improve clinician workflows, improved clinical documentation related to psychology, and strengthened fall prevention efforts…”

“… ER clinicians suggested and assisted in implementing changes to improve EHR usability. Engness helped to move information about international travel onto the initial triage screen and move information about tobacco usage and medication lists to the second screen, which nurses use in patient rooms.”
