Solutions By Design II, LLC (SBD) is seeking an AGILE Program Manager to join us in support of our Health IT Business Unit at our office in Fairfax, VA. The Project/Program Manager is responsible for leading a large team providing custom software development lifecycle services following an agile development model in an environment that includes DevOps delivery processes, automated testing, and user centric design for ground-up redesign for initial development and deployment of a web-based system for a Federal Health Customer. The Project/Program Manager (PM) manages and directs a high performing team of 50+ FTEs, comprised of employees and subcontractors. The PM is responsible for customer relationship, resource management, finance management, subcontractor management, delivering on expected profitability and gross margin targets and overall contract execution. The PM is fully accountable for project performance ensuring all contract-required deliverables and services are provided in a quality and timely manner and within budget constraints.
As part of the Health IT Business Unit, the PM is responsible for all project staff and supports and contributes to business unit and corporate-wide business development strategy and goals.
Project/Program Management Duties:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
- All applicants shall have lived in the United States for at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
- Must be able to pass a CMS-specific Public Trust background investigation.

- 10+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of experience managing projects for the federal government
