Press Release: Perspecta Awarded $155 Million Technical Support Contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs

“Perspecta Inc. (NYSE: PRSP), a leading U.S. government services provider, announced today that it was awarded a prime contract from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to continue providing maintenance and support for the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA), the agency’s electronic health records (EHR) system. The follow-on contract has a one-year base and four, one-year options with a potential ceiling value of $155 million, if all options are exercised.”

“On the contract, Perspecta will provide a full range of technical, managerial and administrative services to the VA, in support of both the primary VistA and VistA Imaging systems. Services will include engineering support and engineering changes, updates, repairs and other technical services. Additionally, Perspecta will execute an expertise center that will be used to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues by providing various maintenance and support services including: a call center help desk, infrastructure and technical performance management, systems performance monitoring, and hardware and software troubleshooting…” Read the full article here.
