The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to award a new contract/task order for sustainment support for the Enterprise Wide Speech Recognition (EWSR) system being used by Veterans Health Administration (VHA). VA is looking to objectively assess whether the currently deployed Nuance Dragon Medical Network Edition (DMNE)and Dragon Medical One (DMO) software application and environments can be maintained by outside parties for the purposes of competing this effort.
The planned scope of the new contract will be for continued support of the VHA Nuance DMNE and DMO Enterprise-wide Front-end Speech Recognition System currently in use. The scope of this effort includes: Cloud Infrastructure/Services for Mobile Infrastructure; Project Management Support and Maintenance & Support.
The primary objective of this RFI is to collect information regarding whether requirements of the PWS can be performed by contractors other than Nuance Communications and for recommendations/ questions from industry regarding the information provided in the draft PWS.
The Contractor shall support the Veterans Health Administration’s (VHA) ability to maintain the Nuance Dragon Medical Network Edition and Dragon Medical One Enterprise-wide Front-end Speech Recognition System currently in use. The scope of this effort includes:
