VA OEHRM seeking Supervisory IT Program Manager

The incumbent of this position Supervisory IT Program Manager is located in the Chief Technology Office for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (OEHRM), within the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA (DEPSECVA). The VA OEHRM is responsible for ensuring that VA successfully prepares for, deploys, and transitions to, a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Major Duties:

  • Oversees development of program/project plans and acquisitions.
  • Oversees the development of detailed program/project plans, tasks, schedules, and helps identify milestone dates to ensure proper sequencing of events, work efforts, and resources to accomplish objectives.
  • Supports obtaining resource requirements, manpower and funding to implement programs/projects. Identifies and coordinates with stakeholders as required.
  • Coordinates with senior agency leaders and technical personnel within OEHRM to ensure architecture is compliant with regulatory policies, communication, software standards and with user requirements…
