The Department of Veterans Affairs has a potential requirement to complete Real Time Location System (RTLS) Installation at three medical centers in Veteran Integrated Service Networks (VISN) 1. VA intends to issue an Request for Quotation on an Other Than Full and Open Competition basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. VA requires the use of existing Centrak and Intelligent Insite products. Under a previous contract, VA purchased hardware and software and approximately 50% of the RTLS solution was completed.
